Space Shuttle Discovery to Launch May 20

sts96_frrSpace Shuttle Discovery will launch May 20, taking an international crew on a visit to the orbiting International Space Station. Discovery will spend six days linked to the new outpost, as the crew outfits Zarya and Unity. The Shuttle will carry more than two tons of supplies to be stored aboard the station, ranging from food and clothes for the first crew to laptop computers, a printer and cameras. Discovery's launch window opens at about 9:32 a.m. EDT and extends for approximately 10 minutes. (Full Story)
